Junior cricket at Westcott CC

We welcome children of all ages and abilities. Sessions are fun-first and focus on core skills, teamwork and confidence—led by accredited volunteers following ECB safeguarding standards.

Sessions - AGES 8-16

Training & Matches

Friday training: 6:30–8:00pm at Stable Meadow (May to mid-August)
Weekend matches: scheduled during the season
Pathway: older juniors (14+) are supported into adult sides

Try cricket for £1 per session for the first three weeks—no kit needed.

ECB All Stars Cricket

Our All Stars programme is a fun, game-based introduction to cricket for young players, helping them develop movement skills, teamwork and confidence through play. Sessions are led by ECB-qualified coaches and trained volunteers who create a safe, welcoming and highly supportive environment for every child.

At Westcott, All Stars evenings are more than just cricket — they’re a chance for the whole family to come together. Parents, siblings and supporters gather at Stable Meadow to enjoy the friendly community atmosphere, with the bar open and a club barbecue running throughout the summer. It’s one of the most popular nights of the week at the club and a great social starting point for new families.
